Does the trick so far for getting the meaning across in the Japanese game Im playing.

It works, but need more improvement when generated the words from a photo, some word doesnt came out right ! ( Chinese)

What I appreciate about this app is its ability to convert one language to another... without having to resort to language classes.

This app was tested with simple French to English sentences. It failed miserably. The closest it came to was correctly identifying the odd word and offering a translation that was sort of correct. Dont waste your time.

OCR works fine. But cant translate at all. This app does not work.

This is the best photo translation app I have come across yet. I live and work in Japan and while the translation for Japanese doesnt always work, hence the 4 stars, its transcribing ability is flawless. It hasnt missed a kanji yet! I simply copy and paste the transcribed text into google translate and bingo. What used to take me hours now takes seconds. Thank you.

OCR seems to work well but every translation fails. Hit the translate button and a "FAIL" error pops up. Same on both iPhone and iPad. If you want translation you need to copy the OCR text and paste it into Google Translate. Support website is useless and they do not respond to emails. 3 stars.

Ok for languages that use an alphabet similar to the English alphabet. Would not translate Japanese so character based languages are out.

Fast and efficient. Using it on my daughters homework instead of rekeying the text. Great time saver with an accurate OCR.

This app is the best one I have used so far and its fast. I have downloaded free and pay apps like this one but I have never been more satisfied by both the speed, accuracy and ease of operation as this one has. Kudos.

Works perfect.

I tried another app but it was so limited that I decided to try this one. It works great! We are planning a trip using Dutch brochures here in the Netherlands and this programme has been tremendous. If it were not for the fact that it needs internet we could use it for shopping.

Used it extensively in Korea and Japan. Must have Internet connection though.

I find this app very useful! Great work!

Wish it worked offline or maybe if I could import pictures I take offline and get them translated when I am back online. I would use it so much more for museum info, menus, in traffic etc.

This app helps me cut down the time on taking notes from the book... So now I have more free time
